The scheme is based on the ISO 22301 international standard for organization that envisions for resiliency. With the ever-increasing cyber threats and the dependence of public and private entities on third party security testers to provide assurance to various stakeholders, there is a dire need ‘to increase professionalism in the cyber security testing industry in Malaysia. In order to ensure the competitiveness of local cyber security testing companies, a department under CyberSecurity Malaysia (CSM), Information Security Certification Body (ISCB) has establish a Penetration Test Service Provider Scheme (PTSP) to ensure penetration testing services is delivered by local cyber security consulting companies is meeting the requirement set by CyberSecurity Malaysia.
